Nice work, looking foward to the real deal

That was good, felt like watching a clip from the show. Not sure about the canned laughter though. It was a little off putting and patronizing. I understand it was used to capture the atmosphere more but I don't think it’s necessary. I just find canned laughter only seems to work in flash cartoons if it’s spoofing something that isn't really funny, still it’s your creation so it’s up to you, who knows you may be the first to make it work.

I wouldn't worry about some of the negative reviews; some people just can't appreciate funny dialogue, red dwarf’s greatest aspect and it has been captured perfectly here. Good luck, looking forward to Blackhole.

Cheers for the really nice review mike.

Ah yes, the canned laughter. I may not use it in "Blackhole" looking back at reviews on here, and watching it now, it doesn't really work too well on a flash toon, and does seem like I'm poking fun at Red Dwarf, as of course this isn't a spoof, it's more of a tribute to the show.

Some people just seem to get a kick out of writing negative reviews, but nah, I won't worry about it.

Cheers again.

The inevitable review from friend of the author

Great graphics and Funny, and despite absents of the silent one, all is good.

Looking forward to TF 3, I’m sure the guy who is set up to animate it is a genius, possibly the greatest person ever lived...ok that’s enough of that.

Good work man, hope you get an A+... or a distinction...or a pass or whatever the grades you get at college are.

FUTURE RULER OF THE UNIVERSE!! (for old times sake :)

Great First Episode

All the jokes played out nicely, the story keeps you interested, and the animation was great.

My favorite bits were the crazy guy who worked in the pet shop, and the many cartoon dogs.

This is going to be a really good series, I can't wait for the next episode.

lol

That was great I’ll have to watch it again once I’ve seen the rest of season 1.

Disk world and Grimlock...hilarious

CapnBob responds:

Discworld is great, though it's actually a reference to the foreword of a Stephen Hawking book and the image came from an early 80's Anime film. Still, it works pretty well as a Discworld reference! Or Golden Axe for that matter!

Call me carzy but i thought it was funny

Simple graphics looked pretty good, and the concept was funny.
This is spoofing the public service announcements that they used to do at the end of G1 cartoons...I think (me not old enough), well you could unlock them on the game and they were an extra on the season 3 dvd anyway.

Soundwave was a little hard to understand, as was the kid at times. Subtitles would fix that.

Overall I liked it, made me laugh

that was great

I liked the original, but it was all jerky and lagged, now it has been perfected it’s...well perfect :)

Good luck with the movie, can't wait to see the finished project.

UncleStevie responds:

Thanks very much mikey!

hehe

Another classic.

One text "lol"

Man this was funny, old Tom sure hates getting wet. Funny I was also considering doing a cartoon about this subject, but I figured it would take to long and by the time it was made every one would of forgot about it, good to know some one took advantage of this hilarious moment.

I hate this one-line summary box

Very good, I enjoyed watching it, guess there was allot of inside jokes but I still found it funny, nice voice acting as well.

For some reason I can never get enough of the Vader Noooooo, hehe

Vinstigator responds:

Thanks

Very nice

Yay Megatron was in it
